What does a Femme Doctor do?
A Femme Doctor is a doctor who specializes in the treatment of women who have breast cancer or a history of breast cancer. They may work at a breast cancer hospital or clinic, as well as at other medical centers where they may treat patients.
A femme doctor is a trained medical doctor with specialized training in a particular specialty, such as breast cancer, or a disease, such as endometriosis, vulvar endometriosis, uterine fibroids or endometriosis, pelvic floor disorders or any other condition in which a woman's anatomy or physiology is changed due to disease or surgery. This includes women who have been told that breast cancer and/or endometriosis are "natural" conditions, that a woman's sexual function may not be affected or that there is no danger in having sexual intercourse with a person with endometriosis.
The typical symptom list for a woman with endometriosis includes pain, discharge, burning and/or irritation to the skin, a burning sensation in the genital area, severe vaginal or pelvic pain, or heavy bleeding and/or pain in the menstrual cycle.
There are two common ways a woman can be diagnosed with endometriosis, and the symptoms are not always the same.
